Hey, this is just a quick little entry -
I got to Canada safe after spending 3 hours wandering around Barcelona with dad trying to find anywhere to grab a bite to eat the night before the plane, and being stuck behind some ridiculously ugly lady in a bright pink tracksuit with her seat all the way back on the plane..
The day after I arrived here, I was walking home from the cybercafe and got hit by the worst storm Toronto's seen in the last 30 years - it was incredible - I couldn't see further than 5 inches n front of me, could barely walk, couldn't breathe.. took shelter in this Dairy Queen place and there were all these tornado warnings - it was just madness!!!
And then yesterday I was downtown with dad and we went into Steve's Music shop, which is a really famous guitar store with like 49855 guitars - just the coolest place, I really loved it - all these long haired guys kept coming up to me and pointing out these guitars with dragons etched on them or whatever and telling me about them - and then on the way out, dad walked out in front of me and then I started walking out and this guy all dressed in black - quite tall too, was in front of me and held the door open for me, and I just went "Thanks man" - turns out he was somebody famous from The Who or something - possibly Pete Townshend. Now I completely regret just saying "Thanks man" instead of taking a photo, because I had my camera right there - but that is pretty typical of me.
I miss everyone, and can't wait to get the films of photos I'm taking developed - hopefully they'll all come out - what a fucking shame there's no digicam
